They had their wedding at the Bukit Batok Hill Top Restaurant located inside the Civil Service Club. The view there is good and the pricing is pretty good as well.

Congratulations to the both of you!!!

Met up with this lovely couple on 29th Jan(yesterday) to handover the car as they have gotten this VW Beetle Cabriolet as their bridal car (as included in their bridal package).

Most of the bridal studios along the entire stretch of Tanjong Pagar were closed except for this particular shop and a few others who has clients getting married during CNY. Thus they had to come back to coordinate the decor of the bridal car, collection of misc and bridal bouquet and etc. Auspicious start to a brand new Lunar New Year.

They are the 2nd couple of the new year 2009 so far. (still haven ask bride Jerlyn 030109 for the wedding photos yet)

There is a saying that couples should not meet up 1 day before their actual day..
well well.. I can only say The Customs, The Traditions and the New Generations!!
This answers it all!! *smiles*

Holding their dinner banquet at their "Dream Location" - Marina Mandarin Hotel and fetching the bride in her "Dream Car" - VW White Beetle Cabriolet making all their "Dreams Come True"!! Specially bought wedding bells to tie to the car boot as well as wedding bears in chinese costume for the decor in front of the car to complete the decorations.

I guess every bride out there would like to have at least 90% of their wishes fulfilled for their Once-In-A-Lifetime Big Day!

** My little advice is to ask all the brides out there to be detailed and to list down every little thing in their little bridal diary. Set a timeline for each action to be completed and do your little check list to ensure all is done for your wedding.

During our chat session while waiting for the car decor to be ready, I realised that Bride Eunice is a primary school friend of Joelle who happens to be my poly mate. Haha.. The world is so small..

Hubby Aaron even mentioned that this car being included into their bridal package was also one of the reasons why they decided to sign up with this bridal studio. They had already received good comments on this bridal boutique and they found the package deal pretty reasonable and attractive. This was the sweet wrapper bundle deal to their happy bridal package. I am glad this car managed to play a part on your big day and most importantly brought smiles to the both of you as well as everyone who's involved.

Once again, wishing you a lifetime of bliss and happiness as the both of you embark on a new journey together. Congratulations!!!!

I like this room cos it is round.. even the bathroom is round also..

with 2 basins, a bidet, a big big bathtub and a

standing shower with rainforest showerhead

I like the cute wedding bedsheets they put for all solemnisation couples..There are only 10 of these rooms.. from level 2 to 6.. Of cos the higher floor will give you a better view..

with lots of flower petals...
Next, moving on to the Executive Suite Rooms.
The complimentary room for all couples who's having
their wedding dinner with the hotel..
This little potted plant greets you at the door entrance..

The sofa can double up as a sofa bed but I dun think it is appropriate to

Met up with Cedric at Sophia Wedding Collection (43 Tanjong Pagar Road)
last night to tie car decor

After the decor is done, the car looks like a big present.. Don't you agree?
He mentioned that his wife's dream car is a beetle and that is why they requested for a beetle from the bridal studio as their bridal car.
I am happy the car can play a part in their big day!!

Their theme is peach and this is why their coordinator Ann even chose peach colored roses for the decor

As the groom is in the events industry, he even made a Just Married plate for the boot decor.
So innovative of him!!

Some bridal studios will just use simple sash & organza to tie the car whereas some will add on the silk flowers for the car decor. Personally I prefer the silk flowers, cos they look real and unless you go nearer to touch, sometime you will not realise they are actually fake.

Will be collecting the car from Grand Hyatt today and then deliver to another wedding for tomorrow. Packed with weddings till Sunday..

I do liaise with bridal studios.
You can ask them for a beetle instead of the traditional Mercedes when you sign up for your wedding package with them!!

A good friend of mine got married last Saturday.. 10th May 2008

I think it was a very auspicious day as there were weddings going on almost everywhere..
I was her lil wedding planner throughout the wedding planning..
Helping her in every little way i could in the period of almost 1 year..

She is a very hands-on bride i would say...
She did her own montage, own corsages for her Jie Meis and even her own guest book.

I bet she had lots of fun having all the wedding items DIY and most of all saved a lot of money.

Rushed to tie car decor for her after dropping my car with another couple who rented my car for their wedding.

They say newly weds are not supposed to meet 1 day before the wedding..
But this naughty bride decided to go against tradition..

She wanted to know exactly how the decor will be like... And thus after her mani pedi session she came to meet us at her hubby house

The very unique car decor done by "Yours Truly" - ME
Being a pink lover, she wanted everything in shades of pink.. I like this car decor as this is one of the most special one i have done so far.. Love the Precious Moments Couple on the bonnet together with the car plate

Dinner was held at 88 Restaurant located at #01-01, Harbour Front Tower 2
(Formerly Cable Car Tower)Dinner started late as most guests were held up by the traffic. We started at 9pm which was really very late...

(Tips to all brides : You may wish to provide a mini map of the location and indicate the nearest MRT station and draw out the directions your guests should walk towards as well as indicate the buses which will reach your venue. Last but not least, indicate an earlier timing for the dinner!!)

Our 9 course Cantonese Cuisine was served at 9pm as most guests were late.

Willip sang during their 2nd March In, He surprised her by arranging one of his Bros to play guitar LIVE while singing "This I Promise You"
(**Awwwhhh... So sweet...*)

He can sing very well and most of us were captivated by his voice... I heard from Bride Esther that many ppl went up to her after that and told her that her hubby sang very well..
She must be smiling from eye to eye..and beaming with pride from within.

Attended a bridal show at Traders Hotel on Saturday 15th March 08.

There was a show by Yvonne Creative Bridal & Photo Studio. All the wedding and evening gowns are newly designed by Chief Designer Yvonne Tan specially for this bridal show.

Jonaven & Ying Ying (White Beetle Convertible 2.0A)

Another Beetle Lover Bride referred by Bride Shirley. They were sharing contacts of their wedding vendors in Singaporebrides Forum as well as updating each other on their wedding preparations on their Multiply accounts. And Shirley recommended a few brides to me who were interested in renting a beetle convertible for their weddings as well.. Thanks Shirley..

Ying Ying didn't wanted the normal sash and flowers bridal car decor thus she specially went around looking for florists who can design something unique for her. Finally she found JUNE FLORIST @ Joo Chiat who suggested using Ivy Leaves n Fresh Roses instead of sash n silk flowers. Mickey & Minne was a gift from her to hubby few years back which fitted into her car decor.

Tip : Pray hard for good weather

Searched around many places for weddings bells and finally found a place at AMARA HOTEL where they are selling just the right size of bells Ying Ying has been looking for. For just $12 a pair, not too ex. :)

Her sweet looking hand bouquet with crystals.. I have seen bouquets with glitter threads and pearls before and find this very special.

Tip : Choose flowers that will not wilt so fast. Some flowers cannot last from evening till morning till afternoon. & make sure the color tone of the flowers are the same as the one you wanted.

The next day @ Swissotel The Stamford

The poster they specially made to display outside the ballroom. They opt for a video in Bintan instead of the normal Express Highlights of the whole day process.

The Walk In path was decorated with pink roses as well.. A very sweet theme

All tables were full
Tip : Remind all your guest 1-2 days before your wedding to ensure full seating

Table Arrangements

To keep their guests entertained throughout the dinner, A Little Dream (live singing) was engaged for a few hours. They took care of the emcee speech n hosting as well as 2 hours of songs requested by the couple. They sang a mixture of Chinese & English songs, from oldies, weddings songs to the the latest hits which we are all familiar with.

This was the last dish of the day... BAKED ALASKA.. Ice cream cake on fire. It was yummylicious and later i got to know from Ying Ying they had to top up extra $50 for this dessert and the last dish was therefore replaced. So meaning to say the last dish *disappeared*

Groom Gabriel considering this dish for his dinner in Nov too.. *try to negotiate with Hilton maybe they will give you discount??* (*.*)Photo Time!! Waited so long just to have a pic taken with the couples..
Jonaven was half drunk by then..
(all thanks to his kakis & also to save his wife from getting drunk)
Ying Ying is a lucky gal to marry such a doting guy!!

They specially asked for the wedding car to come with decor and Charmaine specifically request for blue sash with white flowers to match her color theme.. The wedding car @ Conrad Hotel Lobby where i tied the decor for 3 hours.. Took a long time cos there were many guests at the hotel taking photos of the car and many ppl talking to me as i tied the decor. Even the valet staffs were very helpful to me.. They keep asking if i needed help??
Was so happy when one of the couples who walked pass and commented the car was "so cute" and we started talking...
GUESS WHAT???
She is also another BTB and >>>>She reads my blog!!!<<<

It seriously felt good when i know there are many ppl readin my blog..
What started off as a normal blog to keep all my memories of the weddings i've been involved to a little webby where BTBs visit regularly...

Delivered the car with decor but decided to redo the whole decor as well as help them to put up the JUST MARRIED sign which Charmaine's Besties have made for her. They even brought a box of 48 milk cans to tie to the back of the car for the sound effect when the car move off from the hotel to the church.. I was ????? when i saw the box... But i only tied abt 5-6 cans .. (Refer to Pic Above)

**One tip though : Rem to file the sharp edges of the tin cans until they become smooth so that they wouldn't be sharp and it cuts off the attachment string as the car moves. This is considered as a "hazard" to other motorists on the road...
Pls be careful
You can also spray the cans in different colors for fun effect**

The next day, Charmaine was so pleased with the car decor she invited me to her church wedding.. My first time attending a church wedding.. OOooohhhhh....

@Wesley Methodist Church located @ Fort Canning The atmosphere was romantic... The pastor was fun and made a few jokes to lighten the mood..The moment Tim & Char have been planning, waiting & looking forward to...

I'm very sure Charmaine loves Timothy as much and he completes her as well..

-A perfect match- Not just good looking, Tim is very talented as well.. he played the drums for a song that was specially dedicated to Charmaine.. They engaged a live band to sing at the venue which liven up the mood of the guests present at the reception

Tatty Bears Jacinta bought for me to tie for her car decor..

When i reach Sentosa, it started to drizzle.. Heard from them actually theirs was an outdoor solemisation but it rained earlier so they had to move in.. from 70 pax simple ceremony become 200 pax ROM celebration... Guess only spoiler was the rain... Otherwise theirs would be A Wedding by the Sea..

Sung Yiau's cousin actually put my car number plate on the bench in the car park.. When we were abt to remove the JUST MARRIED plate, he asked Jacinta :

SY: Where is her number plate huh??
J: Duno where your cousin put it??
SY: Oh No!!!!
ME :???????????????????

In the end he found it.. This explains the photo.. Haha.. SY super blur one so cute lor... Made me laugh n laugh... Got caught in the rain.. Added on to my fever... This fever lasted 5 days.. Almost tot i got dengue.. :(

Loves the big decor at the back... Not too bad.. Considering the fact i was sick on sat.. *excuse* Haha...

Went Red Box at Towner Road for the floral decor.
My car has been there a few times for the decor..
Like Ching Yann's attention for little details when it comes to floral decor.
Met them at Celine's house to collect back the car... Celine looking sweet in her peach colored ROM dress... Their wedding was held over 2 days. 15th is their ROM and 16th is their wedding dinner at Fullerton Hotel. i guess maybe its also not so tiring having everything in one day.. :)

Definately need to use fake flowers if not all will fly when he vroom vroom....

Busy Wedding Weekend!!!

If you have been following my posts closely, you'll know this is the busy busy weekend.. 3 weddings this weekend.. I'm happy and excited..

Since the first time i met them, second, third and so on... Being a little part of their plannings, them updating the stuffs thats have been done or not yet done.. the mini advices i could offer them.... The mini help i could give them.... Now is finally the day they have been waiting for~~~~~~

THEIR BIG DAY!!! I feel very happy whenever i see the brides in gowns walkin down the aisle.. Dropping a big tear or 2 when i view their montage and express highlights... Its really very fun n fulfilling being in the wedding industry...

A few of my couples have been asking me when's my turn?? Hehe.... Dun rush me lei... I always tell them "soon soon soon" :)
I've always loved weddings since young... I love coordinating events... Maybe one day I'll become a full fledged wedding planner.. Haha...

Thats all for now... Going to meet Samuel to pass him the car for his BIG DAY.... My white baby is all polished and cleaned up, ready to served them well...

Did not take many photos cos too many weddings in July.. Practically rushing around sg every weekend..

Just to share a picture i took with Groom Enoch during his wedding @ Carlton Hotel. I like his idea. Just 10 tables. Invited close friends and relatives. The wedding occupied a private area in the restaurant. Something like a round hall for events. I heard from him the food there quite nice.

Didn't manage to get any photos with Bride Joyce as i reached quite early. The dinner haven started yet. A pity...

Attended 2 weddings on 070707 alone..
One ROM solemisation at Yishun Orchid Country Club and one at Fort Canning Raffles Terrace. There were many many weddings everywhere we went on that day..

So sweet of Lemanto to create this webby just for her.. so we all get to see the nice nice photos.. Another wedding at Rasa Sentosa.. My car becomin regular there liao.. hehe..
Their pre wedding photo shoot very very nice... and very cheap.. hehe.. they had 2 big album 2 8R album all in digital layout 8 outlook for photoshoot (including outdoor at kota tingi) 4 gown for actual day they top up additional 130 shots with soft copy on top of their package which comprise of 32 poses with standard freebies..
Haha sounds like i m trying to promote the BS.. No la dun be mistaken.. Just find it not bad so wana share with you all lor.. This entry is so Singlish.. Sorry ah... more updates comin up... Stay tuned... :)

I was one of the Jie Meis for Pamela's wedding on Tuesday. We all had to reach her house early as she's a Teochew bride. Prepare all the "tasty breakfast" for Royce and his Brothers. Having too much fun preparing and playing i forgot to take photos of the food we prepared.. Haha..
Here's one of their Task : To wear the disposable brief "I. LOVE. P.A.M . Shirley one of the sisters prepare the briefs. Glued on little rose buds to form the wordings. Very good in her art n craft..

Met Sung Yiau and Jacinta at Canterbury road for photoshoots. Weather was very hot and perfect for photoshoot.. But not for Jacinta.. Hehe.. But luckily she has her make up artist with her to help touch up her make up and arrange her hairdo. Jacinta has her gown tailor made. Not by any BS. Nowadays more brides are choosing a-la-carte and for your info, it isnt cheaper.. Its just that they get to have everything they like on their big day..

Been a very very busy day... Met Eugin & Gayle @ Hyderabad Road. Hehe in case you are wondering, let me tell you. This is a very hot spot for a lot of PS. Weather was good but very very hot.. We kept perspiring a lot and thanks to the unwanted company of ants Gayle got bitten by one of them when it fell into my car... Sorry Gayle... Convertible bound to have such probs.. :)

Happy and fun afternoon... Next they went to sentosa for more photos but i didn't follow them because i had another task... Meet up more couples before my next shoot in the evening... Disappointed a few more couples again due to date clashes... Trust me, you really need to be kiasu for hot dates...I m so so sorry gals... The prev couples booked the dates as early as Dec 06..

Next, met up Allan & Yvonne @ Fullerton where they are having their photo shoots..Yvonne's fav hotel in Sg i think. Her Winnie the Pooh Gang turned up in full force to support her.. So sweet right?? Thats wat Best Friends are for... Let me show you some night shots taken along the bridge...
